Ottawa University

Merging tradition with innovation, Ottawa University has been providing a high quality liberal arts education to students for almost 150 years founded in 1865. Based in Ottawa, Kansas, Ottawa University opened its first adult campus in 1974 in Greater Kansas City. Since then, additional campuses focusing on the needs of working adults have been established in Arizona, Indiana, and Wisconsin, as well as online.

Since 1977, Ottawa University has been serving the Valley of the Sun with a full complement of campus-based services, including admissions, financial aid, full-time faculty, and academic advising. Courses are offered at a variety of times at multiple campuses in the greater Phoenix area including Phoenix, Chandler, and now the Communiversity in Surprise and Queen Creek. Online degree programs are also available. A new term begins every eight weeks, with no outside study groups required.  In addition, a generous transfer policy allows students to transfer in significant credits to accelerate degree completion.

Ottawa University offers a wide range of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, including business, human resources, education, human services, public administration, health care management, counseling, nursing and many more. All programs are designed to help adult learners lead lives of greater personal significance, inspired leadership, exemplary service, and enlightened faith.
